The Beach Street team helped this major hospital to not only rapidly complete the upgrade but to also plan and implement a high availability environment and perform a hardware refresh.

Beach Street reviewed Current Hardware and Software environment to establish requirements for the hardware refresh and high availability. We also reviewed all customizations and determined whether they need to be ported to the upgraded environment and provided a comprehensive Upgrade Plan and Procedures.

After running an upgrade in Development, we supported Testing of the upgraded environment and updated customizations as required prior to upgrading in production.

Lastly, to ensure customer success, Beach Street provided post upgrade support and knowledge transfer.

Along with its modern inpatient facilities, The Hospital boasts extensive outpatient services and clinics, neighborhood primary care health centers, state-of-the art diagnostic and treatment technologies and research laboratories.

Problem:
The Hospital's Health Information Services implemented a comprehensive medical records imaging solution using Documentum and Captiva linked into their line of business systems such as their electronic medical record, billing and coding systems. This system was implemented several years ago and required an upgrade of both the content repository and the capture platform to provide access to more advanced features and to maintain support.
